Superior Industries Names Kerry A. Shiba
Chief Financial Officer
VAN NUYS, CALIFORNIA -- October 12, 2010 -- Superior Industries International, Inc. (NYSE:SUP) ) today announced that
Kerry A. Shiba has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Emil (Bud) Fanelli, the company’s Vice President and
Corporate Controller since 1997, who had been serving as interim CFO for the last 12 months.
Shiba, age 55, most recently was Senior Vice President/Chief Financial & Restructuring Officer and President of the original equipment
business unit of Remy International, Inc., a supplier of components to automobile and truck manufacturers. He previously held a number of
senior management positions with Kaiser Aluminum Corporation, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and served in senior financial management
roles with The BF Goodrich Company. Shiba began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young, LLP).
“Kerry’s experience in the automotive supply and aluminum fabricating industries makes him ideally qualified for his role with Superior,”

Shiba earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and political science, magna cum laude, from Baldwin Wallace College.
He currently serves on the board of directors of Universal Building Products. Inc. and Ramsey Industries, LLC.
